On Thursday February 9, 2023 just before 6am Baltimore Pike & BRFD were dispatched to Interstate 68 Eastbound in the area of mile marker 46 for a tractor trailer fire. Engine 32 responded, arriving on scene to confirm dispatch information and location. The crew stretched a 200’ handline and extinguished the fire which involved the trailer with some extension to the exterior of the cab. Engine 41 assisted with fire attack and overhaul operations, the call also brought numerous tankers from across the county for water supply. Units operated for just under 2 hours.
